Native Bunch Tropical Dreams
Our Posies last week featured the beautiful red Verticordia. Popular since the early 1800's the seeds of this Australian plant were often requested by avid overseas gardeners. It was popular in the 1930's & 1940's to send the seeds to England. However, they were normally sent with the warning that unless England experienced a long, hot Summer the Verticordia would need constant attention just to get it to grow.
Below is a picture of some of the Verticordia we sent out this week. find us at www.nativebunch.com.au
