Native Bunch | Braveheart Boronia
In the early 1900's selling bunches of Boronia on the streets of Perth WA & Mt Gambier SA was commonplace. Boronia was an absolute favourite amongst the flower lovers. During the War years times were extremely difficult and there were suggestions for the profits of sales of the popular Boronia to go to patriotic and charitable funds such as the Red Cross. The generosity of people resulted in funds going to much needed charities such as the Fighting Forces Comfort Fund Christmas Hamper Appeal and the District Bush Nursing Society.
